As many a discerning boat owner knows the Swedish built blue water yachts are some of the finest yachts to have ever been built, the Najads stand proud near the top of this country’s designs. This particular vessel is in her original ownership and has cruised very extensively, often single handed, has served her owner very well and so it will be with some reluctance that he passes the helm to her next lucky owner. Lycka has been thoughtfully equipped with all manner of useful, often essential cruising systems and, as such, is ready to safely take her next owner to wherever he may desire. “SILENT PARTNER II” COMBINES SUPERIOR SAILING PERFORMANCE WITH LUXURIOUS ACCOMODATIONS RARELY MATCHED BY YACHTS OF THIS SIZE.  This is a C & C designed and built hull, finished to a highly customized standard by Wiggers Custom Yachts, some examples of this are the following: The guest staterooms are totally bare of operational items and purely dedicated to relaxation; dual wheels as opposed to the standard single wheel; transom deck with stairs provide very easy water and tender access; s/s tube life line rails from amidships to the transom; custom fiberglass hardtop with dodger and enclosures; solar panels mounted and hidden above the hard top; custom carbon fiber beam to add rigidity to the cabin top; all bulkheads are fully tabbed to stiffen the deck and hull; sail locker forepeak is fully finished to provide crew quarters; custom heavy duty chain plates; Navtec oversized S/S rod rigging with twin backstays instead of a single backstay; all opening hatches are specified “Ocean” instead of more common “Coastal” specification; a 14,500 pound lead fixed keel, designed by Rob Ball, the only C&C 51 hull built with a fixed keel instead of a centerboard; the rudder is custom designed and built and all interior wood is sealed on all sides, not just the visible pieces. ‘Veritas’ is an in-house designed Abeking & Rasmussen, with those adorable classical lines and craftsmanship that made them world famous. A class of boat any discerning sailor could only appreciate her sailing capabilities and nostalgic sea kindly motion when underway.

An active yacht in the local Caribbean Classic Regattas and a yacht to be seen aboard. The ‘timeless’ lines of ‘Veritas’ are admired by all that pass her by on the dock and those that see her pass them by on the water.

Recent works: Teak deck removed, all underlying steel structure brought to a marine surveyors satisfaction, a ½” marine plywood sub deck glassed and epoxied, followed by the relaying of the teak deck. New steel winch boxes aft and all new stainless steel stanchions to finish.Her new mizzen is now finished and installed.Her main mast sheaved and also reinstalled.
