An update from our new owners of "Ishmael" (ex. "Tucket Mist"). Looking Good!
"Robin, After a long winter, much sanding and grinding, many tubes of caulk, and plenty of new fastners, we finally rolled her out of the shed and launched her last week. We stepped the mast last Thursday, I tuned the rig on Saturday and we sailed on Sunday in 18-24 knots of breeze. We still have a few things to button up, but she's floating again....and with a new sense of pride. Here a couple of pics to show the progress on the deck. Notice the hatches - new glass and frames were all powder coated. Also notice the furler line led through the coaming to it's own winch. The companion boards are still in progress, hence the plywood insert for now. Otherwise, she looks brand new on the outside.
We get a lot of people in this area stopping by to admire her since you don't see many (or any) like her. Hope you are well.
Jarrad and Cyndi"
